The exhibition space for MONOLiT, a visual and auditory experience created by Can Büyükberber for the new BMW iX, was designed as an immersive spatial environment.
The spatial concept was developed as a holistic experience that places the electric character and futuristic design language of the BMW iX at its core, enhancing a 360-degree sensory perception.
The space is composed of a semi-enclosed volume defined by high-resolution digital surfaces and light elements, surrounding the centrally positioned BMW iX. The fluid, network-inspired visual language displayed on the digital screens translates the vehicle’s technological infrastructure and electric energy into a spatial metaphor, establishing a seamless relationship between the automobile and the digital content.
Through the principles of light, reflection, and symmetry, the design emphasizes the sculptural form of the BMW iX while encouraging visitors to circulate around the vehicle and actively engage with the experience. The exhibition presents an immersive and contemporary environment where digital art, automotive design, and architectural space converge.
